D’Avico’s Auto Repair has been serving Wayne, PA and the Main Line since 1975.
What started as a family business more than 50 years ago has grown into a modern automotive repair facility built on communication, education, and customer service.
While the tools, vehicles, and technology have changed over the years, one thing has remained the same: treating people the way we would want our own family treated.
Today, D’Avico’s Auto Repair is a woman-owned, third-generation business committed to making auto repair easier, clearer, and less stressful for every customer who walks through our doors. We are especially passionate about creating an environment where everyone feels comfortable asking questions, learning about their vehicle, and making informed decisions without pressure.

Our Story
Growing up, I never imagined I would own an auto repair shop.
In fact, when I started working in the business in 2010, I knew very little about cars.
What I quickly learned, however, was that most people don’t struggle because they don’t understand vehicles. They struggle because nobody takes the time to explain them.
Customers were often left feeling confused, intimidated, or unsure whether they could trust the information they were being given.
I saw an opportunity to change that.
I became passionate about helping people understand their vehicles, empowering them to make informed decisions, and creating an experience that felt different from the traditional repair shop model.
Today, that philosophy drives everything we do.

National Recognition
In April 2022, Ashley D’Avico was featured on The Kelly Clarkson Show for helping Scouts Troop 284 earn their Automotive Maintenance Merit Badge.
The experience was a reflection of something we care deeply about: making automotive education accessible and helping people feel more confident about their vehicles.
Education remains one of our core values today.
Committed to Community Education
Over the past several years, we’ve welcomed multiple Girl Scout troops of all ages into our shop to learn about vehicle maintenance, safety, and basic automotive knowledge.
We believe understanding your vehicle shouldn’t be reserved for technicians. Whether it’s a young driver learning how to check tire pressure or a vehicle owner trying to better understand maintenance recommendations, education creates confidence.
